How do I find my WAN IP address
Windows 95, 98, ME
Click Start/Run/type winipcfg/click OK, This starts the IP Configuration Utility, choose the PPPoE Adapter in top box, IP is 2nd box below Adapter.
Windows 2000, XP
Click Start/Run/type Command/click OK, This opens a Black Prompt box, type ipconfig, hit enter, look down list for PPP adapter, check IP Address.

Overview
If your wan IP address is staticly assigned, you can obtain
the IP address by utilizing any of the following router access methods:
TELNET:
· From a command prompt, type telnet <router IP address>.
Example: Telnet 192.168.254.254
· Login to your router and type the command, "rem list".
example of wan ip address:
Source IP address/subnet mask........ XX.XX.XX.XX/255.255.255.0
WINDOWS GUI:
· Type in your routers lan ip address from within your favorite web browsers URL location area.
· For 5.x versions
· Login <login>
Password <Type your routers login password>
· For 6.x versions
Login <user name>
Password <password for user>
The Speedstream routers Wan IP address should be displayed from within the first page of the WebGUI.
For those routers that are receiving a dynamic Wan IP address from their ISP
(Internet Service Provider):
· Telnet to your router
· Login
· Type the commmand "IPR"
Your router Wan IP address will be displayed from within the IP Routing Table (IPR).
From SBC:

· From a command prompt, type telnet <router IP address>.
Example: Telnet 192.168.254.254
· Login to your router and type the command, "ipifs".
