Overview
If your wan IP address is staticly assigned, you can obtain the IP address by utilizing any of the following router access methods:
TELNET: · From a command prompt, type telnet <router IP address>. Example: Telnet 192.168.254.254
· Login to your router and type the command, "rem list".
example of wan ip address: Source IP address/subnet mask........ XX.XX.XX.XX/255.255.255.0
WINDOWS GUI:
· Type in your routers lan ip address from within your favorite web browsers URL location area. · For 5.x versions · Login <login> Password <Type your routers login password> · For 6.x versions Login <user name> Password <password for user>
The Speedstream routers Wan IP address should be displayed from within the first page of the WebGUI.
For those routers that are receiving a dynamic Wan IP address from their ISP (Internet Service Provider): · Telnet to your router · Login · Type the commmand "IPR" Your router Wan IP address will be displayed from within the IP Routing Table (IPR).
